We finally got the MRI results on Neko and they look very promising but require surgery. Neko has Type II intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) in the cranial thoracic spine (T2T3, T3T4 and T4T5) with marked cord compression. The treatment is surgery, followed by physical therapy of acupuncture, cold laser treatments and hydrotherapy. We need your help to get him well.
Presently Sylvester’s Haven operates as a foster network and helping dogs is restricted by the number of available foster homes but things are changing. We are in the process of developing our own rescue facility with training and rehabilitation capabilities and once complete it will set a new standard in how dog rescues should operate. Please consider supporting our ongoing rescue efforts and the development of our planned facility.
Thank you for supporting our shelter rescue efforts and saving lives! We can only do what we do with your help. Please use this donation form for honoring pledges for shelter rescues. You can provide the name and/or shelter ID number for the dog you are donating for in the form.
