This is Max he was adopted at 7 years old from a shelter (not us). He was healthy and happy. The adopters clearly did NOT care for him!! They let his mange go and then re-dumped him back at SBC, a very high-kill shelter. Max had a rescue hold from another rescue but they never came to pick him up. Max was hidden away, out of public view, left to die. We were contacted and couldn’t let Max die in the shelter; neglected and un-loved. On December 10, 2019 Max’s new life has begun. He is being treated for his mange and will now have the best life ever!!! Merry Christmas Max💞
